Farmhouse Solid Wood Console Table for Entryway or Hallway
How it's made: fine-sanded, sealed with a polyurethane base coat and a satin topcoat.
Feels like: silky and even, with a gentle sheen that shows the grain clearly. Resists spills and moisture well, the easy choice for daily dining and family homes.
Care: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh cleaners.
How it's made: wire-brushed to open the grain, then sealed with a single matte polyurethane coat.
Feels like: tactile and raw, with pores, knots and grain you can feel. No gloss. Suits rustic, farmhouse and mid-century rooms.
Care: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking the surface.

Narrow enough for a hallway and sturdy enough for daily use, this farmhouse console table gives an entryway a landing spot for keys, lamps, and seasonal decor. Its solid wood frame and simple lines fit a wide range of home styles.

Straight lines and a carefully finished surface keep the console clean and adaptable. It suits a front entry, a hallway, or the back of a sofa, and it looks as natural with a wreath and candles in December as it does with a lamp and a bowl the rest of the year.
The frame is made from natural wood for reliable support, and the top is carefully finished to bring out the wood's character without hiding it. Natural wood varies in grain and tone, so each table has slight individual differences in color and figure that make it your own.
Hang a mirror or a piece of art above the console, slide baskets underneath for shoes or blankets, and keep a tray on top to corral keys and mail. A table lamp at one end adds a warm welcome to the entry in the evening.
Which width should I pick for an entryway?
The 40 and 47 inch widths suit most entry walls, while 59 and 71 inches work behind a sofa or along a long hallway.
Can it go behind a sofa?
Yes. At 30 inches tall and 12 inches deep it works well as a sofa table as well as an entry console.
