How it's made: fine-sanded, sealed with a polyurethane base coat and a satin topcoat.
Feels like: silky and even, with a gentle sheen that shows the grain clearly. Resists spills and moisture well, the easy choice for daily dining and family homes.
Care: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh cleaners.
How it's made: wire-brushed to open the grain, then sealed with a single matte polyurethane coat.

The desk pairs a clean, upright frame with a top that keeps its untrimmed edge, so every piece shows its own knots, texture and subtle imperfections. Its narrow footprint makes it equally useful as a drop zone by the door or a small work station tucked behind a sofa. Natural wood varies in grain and tone, so each desk will differ slightly from the photos.
Each desk is built entirely from solid wood and finished by hand to deepen the warmth of the grain. For the steadiest footing, place it flush against a wall. It fits easily into farmhouse, rustic or modern rooms, and the five widths let you match anything from a small nook to a long hallway.
Can this desk be used as a console table?
Yes. At 12 inches deep and 30 inches tall it works well as an entry console as well as a compact writing or laptop desk.
Does it need to be placed against a wall?
The maker recommends setting it against a wall for stability, which also suits its shallow depth.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.
