Mid Century Floating Desk, Live Edge Wall Mounted Desk for Bedroom
How it's made: fine-sanded, sealed with a polyurethane base coat and a satin topcoat.
Feels like: silky and even, with a gentle sheen that shows the grain clearly. Resists spills and moisture well, the easy choice for daily dining and family homes.
Care: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh cleaners.
How it's made: wire-brushed to open the grain, then sealed with a single matte polyurethane coat.
Feels like: tactile and raw, with pores, knots and grain you can feel. No gloss. Suits rustic, farmhouse and mid-century rooms.
Care: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking the surface.

A ribbon of natural grain runs along the live edge, and the slab seems to hang in the air. This mid-century floating desk mounts straight to the wall, giving a bedroom, study or compact corner a place to write, study or work on a laptop without taking up any floor.
The organic edge and visible figure bring warmth to a minimal setup, while the wall-mounted design keeps the room feeling open. A substantial 1.5-inch-thick top stands up to daily work, and the surface can also serve as a display shelf.
Pre-drilled holes and sturdy brackets provide dependable support once mounted. Installation is required. Because each desk is hand shaped, actual measurements may vary by about 1 to 2 inches. The price covers one desk.
Use it under a bedroom window, in a guest room that doubles as an office, or anywhere a full desk would crowd the space.
Every desk is handcrafted to order from natural wood, so knots, grain and color vary slightly and no two are the same.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
