Mid-Century Modern Solid Wood Bench with Seat Cushion
How it's made: fine-sanded, sealed with a polyurethane base coat and a satin topcoat.
Feels like: silky and even, with a gentle sheen that shows the grain clearly. Resists spills and moisture well, the easy choice for daily dining and family homes.
Care: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh cleaners.
How it's made: wire-brushed to open the grain, then sealed with a single matte polyurethane coat.
Feels like: tactile and raw, with pores, knots and grain you can feel. No gloss. Suits rustic, farmhouse and mid-century rooms.
Care: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking the surface.

Mid-century design favors honest shapes, and this bench follows suit with a straightforward frame that lets the wood do the talking. The cushion softens the seat for daily use, making it a comfortable place to pull on boots or set down a bag. It blends with farmhouse, contemporary and modern rooms alike.
The bench is made from durable solid wood, so every piece carries its own grain pattern and texture. A careful finish brings out the warmth of the material. Natural wood varies in grain and tone, which keeps each bench individual.
Wipe the wood with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep it away from strong heat, harsh chemicals and long periods of direct sun to protect the finish.
Does the bench include the cushion?
Yes, it comes with the seat cushion pictured.
Which width fits an entryway?
The 42- and 48-inch sizes suit most entries. Choose 32 inches for tight spaces or 54 to 60 inches for a mudroom or long hallway.
