Modern Solid Wood Desk with Curved Sculptural Base and Drawers
How it's made: fine-sanded, sealed with a polyurethane base coat and a satin topcoat.
Feels like: silky and even, with a gentle sheen that shows the grain clearly. Resists spills and moisture well, the easy choice for daily dining and family homes.
Care: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh cleaners.
How it's made: wire-brushed to open the grain, then sealed with a single matte polyurethane coat.
Feels like: tactile and raw, with pores, knots and grain you can feel. No gloss. Suits rustic, farmhouse and mid-century rooms.
Care: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking the surface.

Spreading out a laptop, monitor and notebook all at once is easy on this modern solid wood desk with a curved sculptural base. One end sweeps down in an artistic curve, and the other holds a drawer unit that keeps papers and chargers out of sight. It brings personality to a home office.
The asymmetry is deliberate: a flowing curve on one side, a compact stack of drawers at the opposite end. The gap between them leaves generous legroom. It looks good against a wall or out in an open-plan room.
One monitor fits well on the 59 or 65 inch top; step up to 71 or 79 inches for two screens or a spot to write by hand. Solid wood blocks are joined, shaped and finished by hand. Use a desk pad under your mouse or keyboard and wipe with a dry cloth.
Expect your desktop to carry its own one-off figure, since real wood never repeats its grain or tone. Each desk is handcrafted to order once you order, in partner artisan workshops based in Vietnam.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
Dimensions are listed in the size option. Choose Oak, Walnut, Black or Brown finish. Need a custom size? Email us before ordering and we will quote it.
