Solid Wood Wave Lounge Chair for Reading Nook
How it's made: fine-sanded, sealed with a polyurethane base coat and a satin topcoat.
Feels like: silky and even, with a gentle sheen that shows the grain clearly. Resists spills and moisture well, the easy choice for daily dining and family homes.
Care: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid harsh cleaners.
How it's made: wire-brushed to open the grain, then sealed with a single matte polyurethane coat.
Feels like: tactile and raw, with pores, knots and grain you can feel. No gloss. Suits rustic, farmhouse and mid-century rooms.
Care: dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking the surface.

A sunny window, a quiet bedroom corner or a dedicated reading nook is where this solid wood wave lounge chair belongs. One continuous curve supports you as you recline, and the sculptural form doubles as an accent when the chair is empty.
The curve climbs behind your back, settles low under the seat and rises once more beneath your knees, so you recline comfortably with no upholstery at all. Add a throw or lumbar pillow for long reading sessions.
All versions are 30 inches high and 22 inches wide. Taller readers will appreciate the longer options; the 53- and 59-inch chairs suit a smaller corner.
The chair is built from joined solid wood blocks and finished gently to keep the grain warm. Shield it from strong sun for long stretches, wipe away dust gently and skip scouring products.
Grain and tone vary, so each chair is distinct. It is made to order in partner workshops in Vietnam, where artisans build each piece by hand.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.
Allow about 2-3 weeks (7-10 days rough carving, photo approval, then 7 days finish and pack). Delivery is tracked (3-7 days by tracked freight). Tracking is emailed upon dispatch. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method in 5–10 business days. See the full Refund Policy.
Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
Dimensions are listed in the size option. Choose Oak, Walnut, Black or Brown finish. Need a custom size? Email us before ordering and we will quote it.
