A rustic solid wood floating fireplace mantel shelf gives a living room or family room fireplace a warm, finished frame. It is cut from one solid block, so the grain runs unbroken from end to end.

The mantel sits flush to the wall with no visible brackets, letting the wood itself carry the look. Its rich tone suits rustic, transitional or modern interiors, and the shelf surface is ready for family photos, greenery or seasonal garlands.
Because it is made from one solid block, there are no seams to separate over time. The surface is gently finished to keep a natural, slightly raw texture. Natural wood varies in grain and tone, and small checks are part of its character.
How do I pick the width?
Many mantels extend a few inches past each side of the firebox or surround. Measure that opening, then choose the next size up.
Which height looks best?
A 5 or 6 inch profile reads clean and modern, while 7 or 8 inches gives a heavier, more traditional beam look.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.
Allow about 2-3 weeks (7-10 days rough carving, photo approval, then 7 days finish and pack). Delivery is tracked (3-7 days by tracked freight). Tracking is emailed upon dispatch. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
