Every time you walk past this shelf, the underside catches your eye. The Sculpted Mushroom Floating Shelf with Carved Gill Detail has real gill lines carved across the bottom of the cap, so it looks like it sprouted right out of your wall.
Each shelf is carved from a single block of solid wood, cap and stem together. The grain runs up the curved stem and spreads into the cap, and knots and color shifts are left in plain sight. The stem bends gently away from the wall instead of jutting straight out, which gives the shelf a bit of life even while it holds a candle perfectly still.
Hang two or three at different heights in a nursery, bedroom or reading nook for a little woodland scene. The honey tone looks great against white walls, brick or darker paint. Pop a small plant, a few crystals or a short stack of books on top. All you need to hang it is a drill and a level.
The wood decides where knots land and how the grain curves, so each shelf is a little different. It is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop, just for you.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
