Picking a book off the shelf becomes a small pleasure when the shelf looks like this. The Sculptural Hand-Carved Tree Moon Solid Wood Bookshelf & Architectural Display Unit is carved as a tree whose trunk sweeps up into a full circle, with slender branches spreading across the top.
Inside the round frame sit five solid wood shelves, deep enough for hardcovers, art folios, pottery and framed photos. The wood has warm honey-amber tones, soft curves and natural knots. A clear matte finish protects it from handling, humidity and dust. With a lamp nearby, the carved branches cast lovely shadows on the wall.
This is a large, heavy piece. It must be secured into wall studs and floor framing so it stays perfectly stable. Only the display unit is included; the books, vases and furniture in the photos are styling.
Dust with a soft microfiber cloth or a soft brush along the curves and branch crevices, and wipe away moisture quickly. Shelf depth, arch diameter and overall height can be adjusted, and stain tone or finish level can be changed for an additional fee.
Branch curves, grain and color vary naturally. Each unit is handcrafted to order by a partner artisan workshop.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.
Allow about 2-3 weeks (7-10 days rough carving, photo approval, then 7 days finish and pack). Delivery is tracked (3-7 days by tracked freight). Tracking is emailed upon dispatch. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
