A long slab of tamarind with an untrimmed live edge, its grain running the full length of the board. The Rustic Floating Shelf is handcrafted from solid wood, 1.5 inches thick, and mounts with a clean floating look that lets the organic outline take center stage.
Tamarind is prized for its strength and lively figure, and the live edge means the silhouette of each shelf follows the original tree. The minimal profile pairs rustic texture with a modern sensibility, so it feels at home in a farmhouse kitchen or a crisp contemporary hallway. A coat of eco-friendly, non-toxic oil protects the surface and keeps the color rich.
Line it with cookbooks and jars in the kitchen, give a few plants a sunny perch in the living room, or keep keys and mail tidy near the door. Come autumn, it is a lovely ledge for small pumpkins and flickering candles, then goes right back to everyday duty.
Each shelf is handcrafted to order from a single piece of timber, so its edge, grain, and tone will differ from the photos in small, natural ways. That variation is what makes it yours.
Shipping is completely free on all U.S. orders. Every piece is built to order from solid hardwood, crated with reinforced timber framing, and delivered curbside by specialized freight.
Allow about 2-3 weeks (7-10 days rough carving, photo approval, then 7 days finish and pack). Delivery is tracked (3-7 days by tracked freight). Tracking is emailed upon dispatch. Full details on our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Any order arriving damaged, chipped, or with a workmanship flaw is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Solid hardwood, carved and finished by hand. Grain, knots and colour vary naturally from piece to piece - that is the character of real wood, not a defect. Made to order: we send you photos of the raw carving to approve before finishing; allow about 3-4 weeks door to door.
